Dr. Mahoney will be temporarily relocating to Colorado
As of July 12, 2013, Dr. Annette Mahoney will be temporarily relocating to Colorado until July 2014.
She will return to Bowling Green and resume seeing clients at Psychological Resources in mid-July to early August 2014.
She will be doing research when she is out of state as part of a 9 month sabbatical in her role as a professor at Bowling Green State University.
Introducing Sue Casselman, Psy.D.
We are pleased to introduce Sue Casselman, Psy.D. who has joined our practice. She earned her undergraduate degree from Otterbein College where she double-majored in English and Spanish. Dr. Casselman earned her doctorate from the Virginia Consortium for Professional Psychology in 1991. The Consortium consists of four schools; William and Mary, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Old Dominion and Norfolk State University.
Dr. Casselman works with adolescents, adults and geriatric patients in individual and couples counseling. She specializes in testing, depression, stress management, issues of abuse, and women's issues. She speaks fluent Spanish, and has worked with patients from a variety of Spanish-speaking countries.
She is impaneled with most insurance companies. Dr. Casselman welcomes your referrals. As always, Psychological Resources and its corps of highly-trained and experienced clinicians is happy to provide a wide range of services for your patients.
Meet Dr. Rebecca Alperin, Clinical Psychologist
Psychological Resources is pleased to announce that Dr. Rebecca Alperin, clinical psychologist, has joined the practice.
Dr. Alperin received her undergraduate degree from Chatham University with honors in psychology. She earned an MS in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University and an MA in psychology from the University of Toledo. Dr. Alperin earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Toledo in 2004, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship through the Northwest Ohio Psychology Consortium with an emphasis on treating children and adolescents.
Dr. Alperin worked for several years at a local community mental health center before starting private practice in 2010. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral and adjustment issues. She also has experience working with children diagnosed with Asperger's Disorder. Dr. Alperin conducts psychological testing to help clarify diagnostic questions and provide appropriate treatment recommendations for children and their families.
